By supporting the Esports Team Berlin, the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises is sending out a strong signal for securing talent and developing the location for digital sports. Together with the esports player foundation, the state of Berlin is specifically supporting young gaming talents on their path to professional esports – holistically, sustainably and as role models. <\/p>\n

The project combines the promotion of sporting excellence with educational and career opportunities and makes it clear that Berlin is investing in the next generation of digital excellence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/article><\/div>

The Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space plays an important role in advancing esports in Germany. As a driving force for innovation, technological excellence, and digital future-oriented initiatives, the ministry supports framework conditions that foster the professionalization and sustainable growth of Germany\u2019s esports and gaming ecosystem. While the ministry does not act as a financial partner of the esports player foundation, its support highlights the growing recognition of esports as a key intersection of technology, innovation, and digital high performance. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia is actively involved in promoting esports and works closely with the esports player foundation. An outstanding example of this partnership is the founding of the Esports Academy NRW in 2022. This academy aims to support young esports players from NRW on their way to the national & international top. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia also played a decisive role in the founding of the epf in 2020 by providing start-up funding. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/article><\/div>

It represents the interests of game developers, publishers and other players such as esports organizers, universities and service providers. game is a 100% shareholder of the esports player foundation and supports the epf with strategic advice and initiatives for the development and support of esports players. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/article><\/div>

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation is a political foundation of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, which is dedicated to promoting democracy, the rule of law and the social market economy. With over 200 projects in around 120 countries, it is committed to political education and international understanding worldwide. The foundation cooperates with the esports player foundation to promote values such as respect, fair play and motivation in the gaming and esports sector.
