The initiative was launched by Deutsche Telekom, SK Gaming and the esports player foundation 2021 and initially consists of 4 main strands:<\/p><ul><li class=\"p1\">The promotion of female and bootcamps focused on performance routines and team development<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3996\" data-end=\"4115\">These elements form the foundation of every Equal Esports cohort and ensure consistent, long-term player development.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4117\" data-end=\"4120\">\n<h3 data-start=\"4122\" data-end=\"4134\">Year 1<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4135\" data-end=\"4377\">In its first year, the esports player foundation supported ten women and non-binary players in <strong data-start=\"4230\" data-end=\"4251\">League of Legends<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"4252\" data-end=\"4255\">This marked the start of the Equal Esports program and established the comprehensive support model that continues today.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4379\" data-end=\"4391\">Year 2<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4392\" data-end=\"4605\">In the second year of the <strong data-start=\"4418\" data-end=\"4446\">Equal Esports Initiative<\/strong>, the program expanded to include <strong data-start=\"4480\" data-end=\"4495\">Brawl Stars<\/strong>. A total of <strong data-start=\"4508\" data-end=\"4532\">14 League of Legends<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"4537\" data-end=\"4554\">4 Brawl Stars<\/strong> players benefited from the full support package.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4607\" data-end=\"4619\">Year 3<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4620\" data-end=\"4899\">The third year saw an increase to <strong data-start=\"4654\" data-end=\"4668\">22 players<\/strong> \u2013 <strong data-start=\"4671\" data-end=\"4698\">18 in League of Legends<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"4703\" data-end=\"4723\">4 in Brawl Stars<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"4724\" data-end=\"4727\">Applications came from more than <strong data-start=\"4760\" data-end=\"4776\">25 countries<\/strong>, reflecting the growing international recognition of the initiative, driven by the success of the <strong data-start=\"4875\" data-end=\"4896\">Equal Esports Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4901\" data-end=\"4913\">Year 4<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4914\" data-end=\"5320\">In the fourth year, <strong data-start=\"4934\" data-end=\"4962\">22 promising new players<\/strong> joined the program \u2013 with a major addition: <strong data-start=\"5007\" data-end=\"5019\">VALORANT<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"5020\" data-end=\"5023\">For the first time, Equal Esports supported three titles: <strong data-start=\"5081\" data-end=\"5098\">3 Brawl Stars<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"5100\" data-end=\"5114\">8 VALORANT<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"5120\" data-end=\"5144\">11 League of Legends<\/strong> players.<br data-start=\"5153\" data-end=\"5156\">The cohort also included the first-ever talent from the Middle East.
