Structures through state funding<\/h1>

As part of regional funding programs, the esports player foundation<\/strong>, together with the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises of Berlin<\/strong>, supports talented Esports athletes.
These partnerships are intended to serve as a model for other German federal states by fostering young Esports talents within their regions. Expanding cooperation between policymakers and federal states could, in the future, create a systematic framework that enables young Esports players to grow into national representatives and role models performing on the world\u2019s biggest Esports stages.<\/p>

The state-level funding programs aim to support emerging talents from each region on their path to the national and international elite through tailored development measures. These individual athlete programs close a significant gap in Germany\u2019s talent development system and are globally unique in their structure and scope.<\/p>

How do the federal states support Esports talents?<\/strong><\/h3>

Through a combination of individually tailored support elements, young athletes receive holistic development opportunities that address both athletic performance and personal growth \u2014 including preparation for a \u201ccareer after the career.\u201d
The core of this support is based on the esports player foundation\u2019s key development modules:<\/p>

  • In-game coaching<\/p><\/li>

  • Regular bootcamps<\/p><\/li>

  • Sports psychology and mental health support<\/p><\/li>

  • Nutritional guidance<\/p><\/li>

  • Physical fitness training<\/p><\/li>

  • Personality development<\/p><\/li>

  • Dual career planning<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Within the framework of the Esports Team Berlin<\/strong>, the esports player foundation supports 20 young talents<\/strong> across the titles EA FC (FIFA), League of Legends, and Brawl Stars<\/strong>.
