Prior to that, he had already been responsible for the topic of games at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) since 2023.<br \/>In his current role within the division, he is jointly responsible with his colleagues for, among other things, the federal games funding program, the German Computer Game Awards, and the strategy for Germany as a games industry location.
