The Equal eSports Initiative is growing<\/h2>\n

The esports player foundation is pleased to announce another milestone in the Equal eSports initiative<\/strong>.\nWith the addition of the popular game Valorant<\/strong>, we continue our mission to provide a platform for women and non-binary talent to develop their passion and skills in the esports world.\nThis expansion follows the successful launches of League of Legends<\/strong> in 2021 and Brawl Stars<\/strong> in 2022. <\/p>\n

Valorant: A strategic step towards promoting inclusivity<\/h2>\n

Valorant<\/strong> is more than just another title in our promotional program.\nIt is a strategically important step<\/strong> that fits perfectly with our mission.\nThe game already has an established global competitive system that is specifically open to women and non-binary players.\nThis provides an excellent foundation for our initiative to grow organically and further increase visibility for these groups.\nThe Valorant community is characterized by a high participation of female and non-binary players, which encourages us to pursue this path. <\/p>\n

Application phase and talent camp<\/h2>\n

Players from all over Europe can apply for one of the 22 coveted scholarships<\/strong> until July 13<\/strong>.\nThe most promising talents will then be selected and invited to our Equal eSports Online Talent Camp<\/strong>.\nThis event will be broadcast live on Twitch at the end of July so that the general public can experience the next generation of esports talent up close. <\/p>\n

Our vision: more inclusive and diverse esports<\/h2>\n

With the addition of Valorant, we are taking another big step towards a more inclusive and diverse esports landscape.\nOur goal remains to give all talent – regardless of gender or gender identity – the opportunity to realize their dream of a successful career in esports.\nWe look forward to discovering and nurturing the next generation of players. <\/p>\n
