The Telekom eAcademy is kicking off its third split, once again providing a space for talented players to develop as esports athletes and gain valuable competitive experience. The league, which gives players as young as 13 the chance to develop, was a successful project by Deutsche Telekom in collaboration with the esports player foundation, attracting a total of 1,625 applications in 2025. With targeted improvements, the league is now building on last year\u2019s success.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The application period for the Telekom eAcademy is now open throughout March: Until March 31, talented players from the DACH region have the opportunity to apply and take the next step in their esports careers.<\/p>

Once the application period closes, all applications will be reviewed by epf coaches, and the best players will be invited to the draft. In the draft, eight teams will each be assigned four players, each team mentored by its own coaches. These coaches will support the players throughout the season with professional coaching on match days, structured practice matches, and targeted individual development.<\/p>

The unique value of the Telekom eAcademy lies in its open access: Anyone can apply individually and still have the chance to become part of a professionally managed team. This creates a competitive environment that fosters individual performance while building genuine teamwork.<\/p>

As a joint youth development project of Deutsche Telekom and the esports player foundation, the Telekom eAcademy combines individual talent development with professional team structures to create a unique development platform.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The competition in the eAcademy<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Over the course of 7 matchdays, the teams will battle for every point, every map, and every ranking position. Consistency, teamwork, and mental toughness will determine who qualifies for the playoffs and takes a step closer to the ultimate goal. Only the three strongest lineups will secure their spot in the finals. The absolute highlight awaits on May 31 in Cologne: The grand season finale will take place at SK Gaming\u2019s Magenta Facility.<\/p>

In this split, four creators will be supporting the eAcademy across various platforms\u2014TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch\u2014and providing exciting insights for their communities. They will host their own watch parties and take charge of one team each, working alongside a coach.<\/p>

This creates a multifaceted community experience: talent on stage, action in the league, and tips and entertainment from the creators on their channels.
