Alexander “alexRr” Frisch takes over the sports management of Valorant in the esports player foundation (epf).

The former Counter Strike and Valorant professional will now be responsible for the sporting development of all Valorant talents in the epf. As part of his role as sporting director, he is now responsible for improving the performance of the talents and implementing the support measures. He will also be responsible for talent scouting and serve as a contact person for new applicants.

This is also accompanied by an expansion of the Valorant sponsorship program. To date, the epf has sponsored 3 talents, but the aim is to sponsor up to 30 talents by the end of 2023.

"I already followed the esports player foundation with great interest during my active career as a player. The epf represents added value for every talent and I am very proud to be responsible for talent development and scouting at Valorant from now on."

Frisch looks back on an 8-year career as a professional Counter Strike and Valorant player. From 2014 to 2020, he represented the colors of various top German teams before deciding to switch to Valorant and BIG. Most recently, he played for cowana Gaming and retired as an active player in December 2022. His biggest achievements include 1 CS:GO Major participation.

"I am very happy that we were able to recruit Alex for the esports player foundation. I already got to know him as a very ambitious and goal-oriented person during our time together at BIG. With his many years of experience, we are convinced that Alex will be an essential building block for the future development of Valorant in the DACH region."
