28 new talents from the League of Legends, Brawl Stars and FIFA titles have already made it to the Esports Academy NRW. The Esports Academy NRW is a joint project of the esports player foundation and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia with the aim of enabling young and talented esports players to make their way to the national top.
Following a previous online application phase, a total of 50 ambitious esports athletes took part in a talent camp at Xperion in Cologne. The 28 most promising of them have now been selected. Of these, 10 are FIFA players, 6 Brawl Stars players and 12 League of Legends players.
All 28 talents will now receive at least one year of support from the Esports Academy NRW with the prospect of being accepted into the esports player foundation’s national support program after one year.
The support provided by the Esports Academy NRW includes regular boot camps in NRW, weekly in-game coaching sessions, sports psychology support, nutritional advice and much more.
