Together with Deutsche Telekom AG, the esports player foundation is initiating the FIFA Fairplay Guide. The FIFA Fairplay Guide is the first game-related behavior guide that has not been published by a publisher.

In a total of 3 streams, Germany’s best-known FIFA esports players and content creators will discuss the development of the guide with the community. The community will have the opportunity to take part in live surveys in the stream and to vote via the FIFA Fairplay Guide website.

The FIFA Fairplay Guide not only addresses FIFA-specific topics, but also general topics such as hate speech and toxicity. The community is first sensitized to the topics of hate speech and toxicity as well as the importance of a safe space, before discussing ingame-specific topics with the protagonists in a second step. This includes, for example, the Pay2Win topic or the discourse on whether it is fair to leave the game after trailing 5:0.

The first stream will be broadcast live from the Telekom headquarters in Bonn next Monday, March 20. The second stream will then take place a week later on March 27 in Krefeld. You can follow it via the Twitch channel of the esports player foundation, as well as via the channels of the protagonists present.

In addition to the reigning FIFA World Champion Umut Gültekin, Tim Latka, Ebru, NikLugi, Faro, Timox and Furkyplayz will also be there.

In the 3rd stream in April from the Rhein-Energie-Stadion, the final FIFA Fairplay Guide will be presented, which the community can then sign digitally.
