Der DKB Esports Nachwuchsspieler des Jahres 2025 heißt Arthur Kornfeld. Der 16-jährige Brawl-Stars-Spieler setzte sich in einem kombinierten Voting aus Community und Expert*innen-Gremium durch und erhält den renommierten Nachwuchs-Award der Deutschen Kreditbank AG (DKB) und der esports player foundation (epf).
On top of the World with just 16 years of age
What seems impossible to many has long been a reality for Arthur. He established himself on the international Brawl Stars scene at a young age and is now among Europe’s top players.
His achievements to date include:
- qualifying twice for the $50,000 Monthly Final (Top 8 in Europe)
- a ranking among the top 9 players in Europe
- qualifying with Team NXT for the Last Chance Qualifier of the World Finals in Brazil – among the top 28 teams worldwide
With these achievements, Arthur makes it clear that he is not only a great talent but is already competing at the highest level.
The Award: Visibility for the new Generation
The DKB Esports Young Player Award is aimed at female esports players under the age of 18 who demonstrate exceptional performance, discipline, and potential for growth. The winner is selected equally through a public community vote and by a panel of experts from the German esports scene.
“With this award, we want to show that systematic support for young talent in esports works. Young talents need visibility, guidance, and professional support—this is exactly where we, as the esports player foundation, come in together with DKB,”
says Julius Althoff, Managing Director of the esports player foundation.
The award comes with a grant of 1,200 euros, but is primarily intended as recognition and encouragement for the recipient’s future path in competitive esports.

With the Young Player Award, DKB and the esports player foundation underscore their shared commitment to sustainable talent development in esports. The goal is to support young players early on, raise their profile, and highlight long-term opportunities in professional esports.
