Training and supporting the best esports players in Germany and beyond is at the heart of our work as the esports player foundation. Our coaches, athletic directors and experts work together to support players in esports. We create a globally unique setting that gives talented esports players free and professional access to services that promote their careers.
With a holistic approach, we not only support in-game performance, but also attach great importance to the personal development of our talents, including mental strength, teamwork and personal responsibility. Talent development is at the heart of our work at the esports player foundation.
Taking responsibility - creating role models
Together with our partners from politics and business, we take responsibility for players and the esports ecosystem. Through targeted value campaigns, our talents acting as role models and our ongoing commitment, we actively promote the values that shape esports in the long term. Respect, performance and fair play form the foundation of our talent development and accompany players on their path to professionalism. They stand up for these values at all times, take them with them into their communities and reach an audience of millions.
We benefit from decades of know-how: The experience of 50 years of Olympic talent development, combined with the expertise of Germany’s best esports coaches, creates the basis for a new generation of professional players.
Support of professional esports athletes
From talent to professional esports player – we accompany players even after they have reached the biggest stages in the world and continue to support them. The special requirements of talent development in professional esports range from legal advice and tax issues to the marketing of image rights. In addition to daily training, the focus shifts to initial prize money, sponsorship and contracts – with our network and our experts, we are at the side of our sponsored players.
Professional players in particular, who now play at an international level, benefit in retrospect from our talent development.

By starting development at an early age, esports player foundation talents are at a level that gives them a competitive advantage even before the required age of 16. Whether someone is suitable for our support depends on several factors. In principle, we review and evaluate each application individually in order to assess the player’s potential in the best possible way.

How are young talents discovered in esports?
The esports player foundation promotes talent with and thanks to various partners and initiatives. As part of our collaborations, we advertise our sponsorships with their own areas of focus – it goes without saying that all participants have access to our offers. Through regular scouting in various titles, we identify talents for our promotion of excellence.
One difficulty in promoting young players is that some of them are still below our radar. In some games, it is not possible to view the biographical data of the players. We are therefore grateful for every application that finds its way to us!
