Similar to traditional competitive sports, mental resilience and concentration are also of central importance in esports. Games in front of millions of spectators and prize money in the five- to six-figure range are no longer a rarity. As the industry continues to grow, the pressure on the world’s top esports players is also increasing . As part of the “Mind” funding module, we are dedicated to optimizing the mental performance and mental health of our talents.
Sports psychology support
In order to optimally prepare our athletes for their careers, we support them in strengthening their mental skills in a targeted manner. They learn how to deal with challenges confidently and ensure their long-term health and sustainable success. This support is made possible by the unique commitment of the The Techniker Krankenkasse.
Under the direction of Moritz Andertenone of Germany’s most renowned sports psychologists, the esports player foundation offers support that is unique in esports. A team of over 15 sports psychologists supports our talents individually and in regular intervision sessions to address specific challenges in esports and in life.

Workshops and bootcamps
During our boot camps, we focus on practical workshops that prepare our talented athletes for the challenges of professional competition. Topics such as stress management, pressure to perform and dealing with public perception take center stage.
Esports bootcamps are intensive training camps where players prepare for competitions or work on their skills and career under professional conditions. Similar to traditional sports, they offer a structured environment in which talented players find particularly good working conditions – be it through tactical analysis, game-specific training or mental strengthening.
A central element of our boot camps is the personal exchange on site. Here, players not only have the opportunity to learn from our experienced coaches, but also to gain valuable insights from sports psychologists, former professionals and other experts from the world of competitive sport. In interactive sessions, they develop strategies to strengthen their mental resilience, stay more focused and be able to perform even under the highest pressure.
By creating an optimal environment for sustainable development, characterized by a protected space for reflection, exchange and growth, we provide valuable impetus for the development of talent.
