Of course, our obligatory year in review post is also a must. 😛 #BreakTheIce is our motto for 2024, an invitation to overcome boundaries, explore new paths and constantly question ourselves.
All in all, 2023 was a very successful year for us – despite all the adversities. At the beginning of the year, we restructured our sponsorship activities and added Valorant as the 5th sponsored title to our range. All of this was done with the aim of providing our talents with even better and closer support.
But that was just the beginning. With the #EsportsAcademyNRW, we have initiated new support at state level, which has enabled us to help more talents make the leap into paid esports. An important step in discovering and promoting local talent.
But that wasn’t all.
The Deutsche Bahn Esports Scholarship and the Xantaro IT-Trials offer our sponsored players the opportunity to combine esports with a solid education for the first time. The #EQUALESPORTS Cup became the world’s largest tournament for women and non-binary League of Legends players overnight and made global headlines.
But these are just a few of the many highlights that 2023 had to offer us.
