Federal State Engagement - esports player foundation

The esports player foundation, together with the states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein, sponsors talented esports players as part of the state sponsorship program. The so-called “Academys” are Esports sponsorships for talented young esports players from the individual federal states.

Their goal is to support talented young athletes from the respective federal state on their way to the national and international top in the form of suitable support measures. The individual athlete support at the state level closes a massive gap in the previous junior esports work and is globally unique.

Focal points of the support are:

– In-Game Coaching
– Regular boot camps
– Sports medical support
– Sports psychological support
– Nutritional counseling
– Fitness training
– Personality development
– Dual career planning

Within the Esports Academy NRW, the esports player foundation supports 30 young talents from the titles FIFA, League of Legends and Brawl Stars. Under the Esports Academy SH, a total of 10 players* from the titles FIFA and League of Legends are promoted.
