Cologne, November 12, 2024 – Deutsche Kreditbank AG (DKB) and the esports player foundation (epf) are proud to present the Esports Young Player Award 2024. The nominees are particularly young and promising talents from the game titles Brawl Stars, EA FC, League of Legends, CS2 and VALORANT. The winner can expect prize money of 1,500 euros – but this award means much more than just financial recognition.
With the Young Players Award the DKB and the epf a clear signal: Outstanding achievements in esports deserve the highest esteem. The nominees were therefore selected Impressive successes and achievements at national and international level, as well as potential. The nominees are talents from the esports player foundation who, despite their young age, already have promising prospects of a professional career in esports. The award is aimed at young Young talent under the age of 18 and should continue to motivate and reward top performance in the future. The winner will be decided by the Communitywho still have until 30.11.2024 to cast their vote here here, as well as a high-caliber panel of expertswho each contribute 50 percent to the result.
The panel of experts brings together some of the most renowned characters in German esports. Invited to vote are leading or former players and coaches from teams such as BIG, Eintracht Spandau, Eintracht Frankfurt and Alternate, as well as well-known influencers. Managing directors and heads of leading esports organizations such as SK Gaming, the ESBD, Game e.V. and TakeTV are also invited to vote. The Announcement of the winner will take place in December 2024.
