The DB Gaming Summit 2026, held at the Ideenzug in Frankfurt, was all about development, exchange, and competition. Over the course of two days, it became clear just how much potential can be unlocked when gaming, employer branding, and targeted talent development are thoughtfully integrated.
Twenty-five talented individuals from various disciplines came together, united by a common goal: to take the next step in their professional development.
A wide range of support services and professional coaching
The program supports talented players in VALORANT, EA FC, Brawl Stars, CS2, Fortnite, and League of Legends.
All participants receive professional and structured support as part of the program, including individual coaching.
A particular highlight was the inclusion of Fortnite in our scholarship program. Two new scholarship recipients are now beginning the one-year DB Gaming Esports Scholarship and will receive targeted guidance as they continue on their journey.
Exchange, insights, and new perspectives
In addition to competitions and training sessions, the summit featured a diverse program of events. These included insights into mental health as an integral part of modern performance development, as well as an engaging panel discussion with Mirjam Markert, who highlighted parallels between competitive sports and esports and shared valuable insights on motivation, high-pressure situations, and personal development.
