We are witnesses of a new sport rising – a sport of a new generation with their own heroes and legends. Millions of ambitious players follow their dream to compete on world class level in their respective game. We support the most promising talents on this journey: As a not for profit institution, it is our sole interest to responsibly develop esports talents. Athletes are at the core of everything we do.

A strong alliance between the entire games industry, sports, politics and society
The not for profit institution is led by Jörg Adami, who served 10 years in the management board of “Deutsche Sporthilfe“ – one of the globally most recognized talent development institutions in Olympic sports. The esports player foundation is supported by the association of the German games industry, among others representing the most important game publishers. Furthermore, esports tournament and league organizers and other stakeholders from politics and traditional sports endorse the esports player foundation’s case. All of them unite in seeing the passion and engagement of millions of gamers in esports as a chance for our society.

What we do
With our highly individualized support programs we enable players to reach the maximum of their potential.
Balance esports on world class level with school, university or profession. Build a dual career based on our scholarships, financial support, parent education about esports career paths and many more of our programs. Develop your talent with more professional training and regular training camps, improve your physical fitness and nutrition, build a network in esports and beyond – we are currently doing the groundwork to be able to deliver these and more opportunities during 2020.

From young talents to top players: the esports player foundation supports talents with world class potential – in any game.
Together with the key stakeholders in esports we will identify talents that we want to include in our programs. Currently we are in the process of raising funds and creating the structure necessary to deliver to our promise. Being solely committed to the interests of players, access to our programs will be non-discriminatory: Our long-term vision is to be able to support every relevant game title and include every significant talent in our activities. However, in order to sustainably develop the institution, we will start with the most popular games and grow our programs from there.
