Cologne, March 09, 2021: Logitech G is now supporting the esports player foundation as a new enabling partner. Logitech G is the innovation leader in gaming technologies and equipment and a committed supporter of the esports community. The company is involved in the development of top talent and professionals in Germany and offers a wide range of support. This includes financial support, the provision of hardware such as headsets, keyboards and mice, as well as joint activities for the further development of players. Logitech G is thus making a significant contribution to the professionalization of esports in Germany.
The esports player foundation was founded in January 2020 to specifically promote esports talents in Germany. Eight employees and 30 coaches, psychologists and experts are already helping over 50 players to succeed in sport, school and work. By the end of 2021, the initiative will accompany over 200 talents on their way to the top of the world. Funding measures with a volume of around 1.3 million euros are available for this purpose.

The esports player foundation supports ambitious players with in-game coaching and a wide range of services such as nutritional advice, sports psychology advice, fitness and media training and financial assistance.
