Coincidence or the result of sustainable talent development?
The turn of the year offers all League of Legends players the opportunity to take a significant step in their career. For us, this means recognizing and celebrating the successes and career leaps of our talents.
Today we celebrate the successes of three former DKB Diamonds (RAW) players who have made the leap into the national league. Khaled “Difference” Said will now play for Eintracht Frankfurt, while Leon “Relative” Van will compete for E Wie Einfach Esports.
And to top it all off, Alex Szymanski, aged 17, moves from Division 4 (the DKB Diamonds RAW) to Division 1 (MOUZ), making him the youngest player in the league.
Almost exactly two years ago, on January 27, 2022, we launched a unique project together with DKB | Deutsche Kreditbank AG. A project in which the focus is not on short-term success, but on the best possible sustainable development of all players.
This was followed by a march from the 5th to the 2nd division and the formation of a junior team. Now the first three players have made it into the top German league.
This underlines once again that disruptive models can also create added value for the entire scene.
